By Planet Laundry Staff: - Statewide Laundry Equipment, with offices in Jacksonville, Tampa, Orlando and Miami - recently finished its three-day series of annual spring road shows, beginning on March 13 in Tampa at TPepin's Hospitality Centre, followed by a stop in Orlando on March 14, and concluding on March 21 at the company's Hialeah headquarters, located just outside Miami.
During these events, industry leaders unveiled the latest the vended laundry business has to offer, including a special presentation on Speed Queen's newest payment systems and equipment features, and a discussion about laundromat marketing.
Industry vendors were on site to meet with attendees during a vendor showcase that was held during all three road shows. What's more, service seminars - led by Speed Queen service managers - featured interactive video technology to help enhance the learning experience.
Special financing and discounts on soap and parts also were made available during the shows.
"I'm a first-time coin laundry entrepreneur," explained local store owner Devon Stainrod. "This is where I save money on the different products. It's a must because, as a laundry owner, you're always trying to reduce your operating costs. This is where I come to save on soap, save on parts. I love the Statewide team."
